Visiting Volkswagen We in Berlin.

Volkswagen invited to a pre-launch of Volkswagen We at the Digital:Lab in Berlin in the run-up to the IAA and provided a first glimpse of the new digital ecosystem on September 5.

Meanwhile media representatives had the opportunity to inform themselves about the many different facets of Volkswagen We in four different sessions: Experts from Volkswagen showed and explained new digital mobility services, car connectivity services and presented mobility start-ups from the new incubator at the “Gläserne Manufaktur” in Dresden.

In addition, Jürgen Stackmann, Member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen brand responsible for Sales, and Dirk Wollschläger, IBM General Manager Global Automotive Industry, announced a five-year cooperation between the two companies in which digital mobility services are jointly developed.

Another highlight was the launch of the We Deliver pilot project in Berlin. In cooperation with DHL, parcels can be delivered to the trunk of a Volkswagen in the future.
